Who is STEAMpop?

Dr. Melissa Silk works extensively in a variety of experience contexts to enhance the status of STEAM. She is passionate about exploring connections between imagination, making and mathematics. Melissa is part of several unique collaborations, creating and writing about STEAM experiences in academic and community environments.

Annette Mauer believes that integrated STEAM programs encourage new ways of thinking and an increased awareness of the value of the arts in society. Working in schools and museums, Annette has developed creative programs in art, design and critical thinking, including design thinking programs for the corporate and cultural sectors.

We regularly collaborate with Sydney based artist Lisa Giles. Fascinated with how the material world reflects geometry through sculptural forms, Lisa’s practice superbly complements the elegance of STEAMpop’s creative experiences.
